Job Brief
As an Outside Sales Representative at J&R Marketing, you play a crucial role in driving business growth by introducing our comprehensive range of branding, design, printing, and marketing services to businesses in Rhode Island. Your primary focus will be on generating new business relationships, leveraging our competitive pricing, honesty, and diverse service offerings. This position offers a small base salary and attractive commission structure, ensuring rewarding compensation for your efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business by actively prospecting and approaching businesses in Rhode Island.
- Conduct introductory meetings to present J&R Marketing’s services, leaving marketing materials behind for future reference.
- Follow up with potential clients to nurture relationships and convert leads into sales.
- Work collaboratively with an inside sales representative for product-related inquiries and order processing.
- Maintain a solid understanding of J&R Marketing’s services, pricing, and unique selling points. J&R’s core services include website design, digital marketing, custom apparel, design services
- Attend occasional networking events or business meetings to expand your network.
- Collaborate with the team to contribute insights and strategies for business development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating new business.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with marketing, branding, or printing services is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Rhode Island.
- Comfortable working from the office 1 or 2 days per week.
Compensation:
- Base salary plus commission on every order placed.
- Additional commission for referrals generated from your clients.
Note: This position will be tailored towards the best fit. Base and commission is flexible.
