About Registration & Donations

HENC is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization and does not charge membership fees at this time. We invite registrants to consider a voluntary donation per event to help support event planning and administrative costs. A suggested donation of $5 helps confirm attendance, but you are welcome to contribute any amount that feels right for you — whether that’s $1, $5, or more. No one will ever be excluded from participating based on ability to donate.

In addition, a small suggested donation helps us better anticipate attendance (reduces no shows), which supports our venue partners and ensures a positive experience for all attendees. All contributions directly support HENC’s mission to connect and strengthen the higher education professional community by continuously providing events like these.
