If it feels like things have been quiet on our end, it’s only because we’ve been too busy to shout.
The truth is, the past couple of months at J&R have been nothing short of electric. Across every division – branding, web, media, content sessions, and printing — our team has been deep in the kind of projects that pull everyone in, challenge every muscle, and remind us why we do what we do.
More than ever, we’ve had those dream scenarios: projects where we’re brought in early, handed the keys, and trusted to build something from the ground up — not just a logo, or a website, or a video — but the full brand experience. From initial messaging and mockups to website builds, drone shoots, social campaigns, and even screen-printed merch. When everything connects, you can feel it — and so can our clients.
Of course, big creative projects come with moving parts. But that’s marketing. It shifts. It adapts. And our team has done what it always does: evaluate, improve, and get it done.
June Was Big. July Was Wild.
Our media and production teams have been everywhere lately — from flying drones and filming on job sites to wrapping vehicles and installing storefront signage. One of our favorite snapshots from July? The Rhody Pop truck — we completed the new logo and brand for Rhody Pop and then wrapped their vehicle — parked right outside Sonia’s, where two weeks prior we had just finished their new exterior and interior signage and latest custom apparel for their new location. That one photo captured it all: branding, custom graphics, vinyl decals, sign manufacturing, and vehicle wraps — all in one frame. These types of cross-discipline projects let us tie everything together, and when they hit the streets (literally), the impact speaks for itself.
And on the paid ad side of things, we’re ramping up for something big:
We’re building out a full media kit for What’s Going On in Rhode Island, giving local businesses access to advertising across their entire network — website, social, and more — with pricing that makes sense for modern marketing. It’s a huge opportunity to help our clients reach an even larger audience, without the TV or print-level costs that usually come with it.

Building, Testing, Growing
Behind the scenes, we’re not just doing — we’re developing. We’re in the middle of a full website revamp to better showcase the depth of what we offer and how we approach it. Along with tons of resources for brands and businesses in Rhode Island and beyond. And we’re testing out new internal tools that we’ll soon roll out to our clients.
One we’re especially proud of? DASH — our new and improved analytics platform that brings everything together in one place. It gives clients real-time insights into their rankings, website health, reviews, bugs, and more. No more bouncing between platforms. Just one clean, powerful dashboard. (And yes, it’s all built in-house.)
We’re also in the middle of interviewing for a few key roles as our team continues to grow — and promoting from within where it makes sense. Growth isn’t always loud, but it’s happening.
Looking Ahead
We’re always moving. Always building. And as new projects launch and new partnerships take shape, we stay focused on the thing that’s made J&R what it is: showing up, doing the work, and helping good businesses grow.
We’re excited for what’s ahead. For the projects we can’t talk about just yet. For the new clients walking through the door. For the team that keeps rising to the occasion.
And as always — for the next thing we get to bring to life.
