J&R Marketing is expanding — and we’re looking for the right person to help take our branding and print division to the next level.
We work with businesses of all sizes to bring their brand to life through custom apparel, promotional products, signage, and more. As we grow, we’re looking for someone who can own the client experience from start to finish — from welcoming walk-ins and answering calls to quoting projects, following up, and making sure every client feels supported and valued.
This is a full-time, in-person position based in our Smithfield, RI showroom (just over the Johnston line). If you’re friendly, detail-oriented, and excited to learn the ins and outs of printing and branding, we’d love to talk.
Experience in printing, custom apparel, or promotional products is a plus — but we’re most focused on finding someone who fits our team, learns fast, and truly wants to help people.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist walk-ins, pickups, and new visitors to our showroom
- Answer inbound calls, texts, and emails from new and existing clients
- Generate quotes and pricing using our calculators and tools
- Serve as one of the main points of contact for print and branding clients (including referrals, walk-ins, and existing client accounts)
- Help clients select the right apparel, products, or print methods for their needs
- Write up design requests and collaborate with our internal creative team
- Follow up with clients and keep them informed on order status and timelines
- Handle reorders and ensure timely delivery with a smooth process
- Recommend complementary services when appropriate (without pressure)
- Keep our showroom clean, organized, and welcoming
- Attend occasional vendor meetings to learn about new product lines and techniques
- Occasionally visit clients in person to assist with product selection, gather details, or strengthen relationships

- A positive, professional presence in person and over the phone
- Interest in branding, custom printing, and promotional products
- Willingness to go the extra mile — both online and in person — when clients need support
- Comfortable learning new tools and following defined processes
- Sales or customer service experience in print, design, or branded products is a plus
